The Journey of Our Founder

Our founder, Adam Helfman, comes from a fourth-generation home improvement family and has been shaping the industry for over 35 years. He began by working alongside relatives on DIY projects and eventually led Fairway Construction before stepping into the national spotlight as a consulting builder on ABC’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, seen by over 23 million viewers. After nearly two decades hosting his popular Saturday morning radio show in Metro Detroit, Adam launched Hire It Done in 2005, creating a trusted platform that connects homeowners with vetted professionals for seamless, high-quality home improvements
