The countertops in your living areas are some of the most used pieces of furniture in your home.  In the kitchen you set hot pots and pans on them, cut veggies, pour drinks and pile up dishes.  Your bathroom countertops get doused with soap, water, toothpaste, hair spray and more.  In the laundry room you spill detergent on them and then use them to fold clothes.  If you have a bar, they will no doubt see there share of spilled drinks, corkscrews and bottle caps.

No matter how much you use your countertops, there is nothing like running your hand across a nice clean surface of beautiful granite, quartz or even concrete.  A great countertop can also be accented with a designer backsplash, undermount farm sink and a state of the art cooktop.  Don’t forget to consider a beautiful stone or tile surround for your fireplace for a real design punch.

A properly installed countertop should last a lifetime and also support how you plan to use it. So, if you are looking for a low-budget counter for the basement laundry sink, or a state-of-the-art island that will be the center of your kitchen, do your research to find out what type of surface is best-suited to your needs and budget.  Always visit a showroom and have it professionally measured and installed.

You'll get up to four licensed and approved contractors to compete to work on your countertops and surround project when you Hire it Done!

Adam's Helpful Hint:

If you’re worried that granite or quartz is too expensive for your budget, visit the stone supply store and ask to look through their remnants. In many cases, getting a beautiful granite counter can be less expensive than a laminate one.
